Working Hours

Anytime between 8 am-8 pm (Mon-Sat) Our clinics are open 12 hours per day. You select the hours you prefer.

Location

Flexibility to work across various sites:
  • Reservoir
  • Templestowe Lower
  • Craigieburn
  • Thomastown

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in healthcare enrollment, case management, or a similar role, preferably within the NDIS or disability services sector.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a waitlist effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with participants, practitioners, and internal teams.
Knowledge of NDIS policies and procedures, including participant eligibility criteria and referral processes, is highly desirable.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently manage workload and responsibilities.

Role Overview

At Soaring Health, the NDIS Allocations Team play a crucial role in managing the allocations process for participants referred to our services. Your primary responsibilities will include triaging referrals, maintaining a waitlist, and facilitating the allocation of participants to appropriate practitioners based on their preferences and practitioner availability. Additionally, you will need to possess a comprehensive understanding of our practitioners' specialties, participant populations, and available services to ensure optimal matching between participants and practitioners.

What you will do:

Referral Triage
Receive and review referrals submitted by the Participant Relations Team, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information.
Prioritize referrals based on urgency and participant needs, triaging them effectively for further processing.
Waitlist Management
Add referred participants to the waitlist, categorizing them according to their stated preferences and requirements outlined in their online referral form.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date waitlist, regularly reviewing and updating participant information as necessary.
Practitioner Allocation
Monitor practitioner availability and appointment openings, coordinating participant allocations accordingly.
Match participants with practitioners based on their diagnosis, preferences, and the practitioner's expertise and service offerings.
Communicate effectively with practitioners to facilitate seamless scheduling and allocation of participants.
Understanding Practitioners and Services
Develop a thorough understanding of each practitioner's specialization, expertise, and the participant populations they can work with.
Familiarize yourself with the services offered by each practitioner, including treatment modalities, therapy approaches, and available resources.
Collaborate with the Participant Relations Team and practitioners to gather relevant information and updates regarding practitioner capabilities and services.
Participant Advocacy
Serve as a point of contact for participants throughout the allocations process, addressing their inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Advocate for participants' needs and preferences when allocating them to practitioners, ensuring their preferences are respected and accommodated whenever possible.
